With gig posters displayed worldwide for clients ranging from Wilco to No Doubt to Merle Haggard , it would be hard for anyone to miss the eclectic work of Dirk Fowler, our August speaker. Having produced over 160 posters, his work has appeared in numerous graphic design books and has been recognized by PRINT, STEP Inside Design, Communication Arts, Type Directors Club and the American Advertising Federation.
Owner of f2design in Lubbock, Texas, Dirk has been a graphic designer since 1993 with the majority of his work since 2002 focusing on the music industry. Promoting the advancement of design, he also serves as Associate Professor in Communication Design at Texas Tech University.
