Inaugural Young Advertising Professional of the Year Award looks to honor Oklahoma’s young communication professionals
Oklahoma City, OK – In an effort to recognize Oklahoma's talented pool of young advertising professionals, Ad2OKC has recently created the Young Advertising Professional of the Year Award.
This award, to be presented by Ad2OKC at the 2010 Oklahoma City Ad Club ADDY® Awards Gala February 27, 2010, will honor 2009’s most outstanding young advertising professional.
Nominations for this award can be made until January 18, 2010 by filling out the nomination form at www.Ad2OKC.com/nominate.
To be considered for this award, nominees must meet the following criteria for the year 2009: 21 to 35 years old, live and work in Central Oklahoma, employed in an advertising-related field (advertising, marketing, public relations, design, interactive development), and contributed to the advancement of the advertising industry. Extra consideration will be given to nominees involved in an industry-related organization.
The winner of the inaugural Young Advertising Professional of the Year Award will be chosen by a panel of five judges – three from Ad2OKC, and two from OKC Ad Club.
Ad2OKC is Oklahoma City’s only professional organization for the communication industry’s under-32-year-old professionals. Ad2OKC provides young advertising, marketing and communication professionals the contacts, education and leadership opportunities they need to become tomorrow's industry leaders.
